MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

We at Al Hira Educational Society Nepal aiming to bring the Muslim community to enlightened, literate, self-sufficient and desperately leading position in coming decades. We have plan to empower the youth and new generation with strong attachment with Islamic ideology, philosophy, and practice.

Since Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and a multi-religious country. Different religious communities have been living here in peace and harmony for many centuries. The Muslims, who constitute the second largest minority community after the Buddhists, are facing many problems. The most critical situation of Muslim community is backwardness in education. The reasons behind illiteracy and poverty and lack of awareness regarding importance of education. Even though Islam has made education compulsory for every Muslim man and woman (طلب العلم فريضة على كل مسلم) the situation in Nepal goes contrary to this which is very unpleasant.

We focus and concentrate on education at every level from primary to higher education, so that in coming days there should not any Muslim whether male and female illiterate. Education for all with Quality and compatible strength of modern era is our motto. So that they could ensure their rights in the government at every level, simultaneously they could be an asset for the community, society and nation, their contributions to be assessed at national level, and in future the community could be marked in the national development programs.

We have complete faith in almighty Allah and all well-wishers to come forward, join your hands with us to bring most marginalized community in front as national developers and key role players. May Allah SWT give us courage enough and reward all supporters Ameen.
